At Valendry, we believe your financial data is yours and yours alone. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information with the utmost care and respect.

Data Storage

Valendry persists your encrypted financial data in a managed PostgreSQL database (hosted on Neon serverless). We keep both rest and in-transit encryption standards in place, and we never rely on browser storage for critical records. When you sign in, budgets, transactions, alerts, and preferences are synced to our encrypted database and served back to your desktop app.

Optional Cloud Sync

If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted end-to-end before being transmitted to our servers. We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption, and only you hold the decryption keys. Even we cannot access your financial data.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Email address (for account creation and support)
• License information (to verify your subscription)
• Basic usage analytics (anonymized, to improve the app)
• Crash reports (anonymized, to fix bugs)

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for specific functions:

• Whop for secure license management and payments
• Optional bank connection providers (if you choose to link your bank)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we have about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of analytics and crash reporting
